Advancing Learning Through Music Lessons

Students will acquire practical drumming skills including, but not limited to:

  • recognizing and memorizing beats and patterns

  • timing and rhythm

  • coordination of hands and feet

  • developing musical listening and response abilities

  • creating and maintaining beats and grooves

  • improvisation

Drumming lessons instill valuable academic and life skills, setting the stage for success in various subjects and real-life situations.

Creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, time management, and communication are just some of the skills that students will develop in drumming to enhance their overall academic performance and well-being.

Students will have the opportunity to further build their confidence and showcase their new skills in public settings by performing at school events, open houses, arts nights, and talent shows.
